Cotsec's Requirements Driven Development (RDD) provides
a language-agnostic means to create code that will run
under many different frameworks but act in the same
way across each one. Presently the Java
language and framework and the .NET
framework are strongly supported, basic support for
Perl Forms and Delphi Forms. In addition, in each target
framework, multiple different runtime environments will
be supported, such as graphical (desktop) applications
and web-based internet applications. Cotsec are actively

Some examples of various styles of output
J2EE Swing form backed by Cotsec generated
CMP EJB 2.0 beans. The definition files to generate
this application are below. The server component of
this application is a standard J2EE Enterprise EAR suitable
for all major application servers. The client is a standard
Java Swing client.
J2EE JSP (Struts) form running in JBoss
backed by a CMP 2.0 EJB generated using XDoclet.

.NET Windows Forms application backed
by a SQL Server 2000 database. The database is exposed
as a Web Service in a standard .NET fashion.

.NET ASPX Web application backed by
the same SQL Server 2000 database as the previous screenshot.

Eclipse SWT Form bound to a standard
Javabean as the model. This model can be in turn bound
to a Properties file to allow simple Properties file
editing.

The same .NET form
displayed on a mobile/cellular phone. This form talks
directly back to the web services generated previously.
This work is currently in Beta. Please contact Cotsec
